Typically sold at ~6″ and reaches 24″ over ~2 years. Plan tank size for the adult, not the fish at purchase.

Diet

Frozen krill, silversides, squid, large mysis (no live feeders)

Notes

Hardiest of the marine eels, cream body with brown rosette markings. Surprisingly peaceful but will eat any crustacean (shrimp, crabs, lobsters) and small fish. Eats meaty foods only, no live feeders, no flakes. Houdini-grade escape artist; needs a covered tank.
